Sigma Alpha Epsilon Homecoming
The weekend of October 16th - 18th represented Homecoming Weekend at Furman University. The preceding week was filled with homecoming activities! The brothers of South Carolina Phi were partnered with the sisters of Delta Gamma for this year's activities. Hilarious skits, massive banners, T-shirts (pictured right), and the homecoming float were all created over the duration of homecoming week. This year's theme was board games with SAE and DG getting the Jumanji theme. This theme was translated into the massive float that was displayed along Furman's Milford Mall as the Furman Paladin football team defeated the Samford Bulldogs 26-24.
The float sat adjacent to the South Carolina Phi tailgate as active brothers welcomed back SAE alumni from classes in the 70s, 80s, 90s, and recent years. The homecoming dance this year was featured in the Furman Unvirsity Golf Pavilion on Saturday, October 17th. SC Phi would like to thank brother Billy Oden, homecoming chair, and the sisters of Delta Gamma for a wildly successful homecoming year! |

Check out our new Eminent Archon Archives Page!
We are proud to unveil a new feature to scphi.net. Furman University and greek life alike have encountered many changes in the recent years. From academic schedules and recruitment policies and processes to Greenville County ordinances, it takes a while to acclimate oneself to the new systems. South Carolina Phi and Sigma Alpha Epsilon have a deep heritage imbedded in Furman University. Not only are we the longest-standing fraternity to Furman, but looking around the campus, one can see academic halls and university buildings named after prominent SAEs and South Carolina Phi Alumni.
In an effort to reconnect the brotherhood and potential brothers with the history of our chapter, www.scphi.net is proud to remember the great men who have lead this great chapter in past and present. Click Here to check out the list! On a national level, some information has been lost as a result of multiple system transfers. If there are any names that can be added/modified to this list, please contact the Eminent Chronicler, Daniel Lewis, via email at daniel.lewis1128@furman.edu. Enjoy!

The new house is several minutes north of Furman University's main campus. We are very proud to present our new house, which will be receiving new renovations in September and October, during some of our first social events of the new school year. South Carolina Phi would like to thank brothers Reid Calhoon, Andrew Leithe, Ryan Loveless, and countless others for providing invaluable support in the process of acquiring our new house.
